Do You Boogie Like King David?
So far I have found in the Bible 5 ways to worship God: 1) Passionately, like King David who could really boogie for the Lord God Almighty (2 Samuel 6:12-23); 2) Obediently, like Moses (2 Samuel 6:12-23; see also what Samuel has to say in 1 Samuel 15:22); 3) Thankfully, like the sinful woman who wept and anointed the feet of Jesus (Luke 7:36-38); 4) With sacred reverence, like the elders and angels in Revelation 5:8-14); 5) With our lives, like Anna (Luke 2:36-38). Everyone worships God differently. Some may worship Him in one of the above ways, or some may use all of the above ways. What matters is that we DO worship our Lord God Almighty. He loves it when we boogie like King David, bow to the ground like Moses, weep in joy and anoint His feet like the sinful woman, honor Him in sacred reverence like the elders and angels and with our lives like Anna. Whatever style you love to worship God, He will love it, too.
