Abundantly Pardoned

Our Lord God Almighty abundantly pardons us if we seek His forgiveness and accept Jesus as our Savior. Ladies, no matter what bad things we have done in our pasts, no matter how ashamed we feel, the Lord wipes the slate clean, washing our sins away, and we are born new creatures, hallelujah! The Apostle Paul was a persecutor of Christians, dragging them from their homes to have them thrown into prison. (Acts 8:3) After his conversion he said, “God had mercy on me.” (1 Timothy 1:13 NLT) It’s time to put away the guilt. Nobody can ever look down their noses at us because we are beloved of God. We are abundantly pardoned. (Isaiah 55:7 NKJV)

Show the Goodness

Does your life show the mercy that God has shown you? Does your life shine as a testimony to the grace He has heaped upon you? Oh, that we would show the goodness of God as we live our lives each day. “You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. ‘Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.’” (1 Peter 2:9-10 NLT) We are living proof of the goodness of God, and we need to show this to all people. Remember when you lived in darkness? Don’t you want others to find their way out of the darkness and into the light? The Apostle Paul said, “This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: ‘Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners’—and I am the worst of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of His great patience with even the worst of sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in Him and receive eternal life. All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen One who never dies; He alone is God. Amen.” (1 Timothy 1:15-17 NLT) Be an example of God’s patience so that others will also believe. Don’t hide your light so that others can’t see it. You are in the light because of the mercy of our Lord God Almighty. Let it shine, dear one, let it shine!
