Are You a Slave To Your Addiction?
“Though we are slaves, our God has not deserted us in our bondage.” (Ezra 9:9 NIV) Do you have an addiction? Any kind of addiction? Drugs? Alcohol? Sex? Gossip? T.V.? Food? There are many kinds of addictions, and those who have an addiction are slaves in bondage to their bad habits. But there is hope! God hasn’t deserted you! There may be people in your life who have deserted you because of your bondage, but God is still with you. He wants you to lean on Him and draw strength from Him. He wants to enable you to overcome your addictions. Oh, won’t you let Him help you?
