Abundantly Pardoned

The world we live in is a rough one. Each day it runs over us like a huge bulldozer, plowing into our hearts and ripping into our souls. There are people who don’t care that they’re hurting us or breaking our hearts or making us cry. But there are also people who love us and tend to our spiritual wounds like a physician dressing a physical wound. Those people are brothers and sisters in Christ. As Jesus tells us in John 15, God is the Gardener, Jesus is the Vine, and we are the branches, all of us joined together. If we stray from the Vine, we shrivel-up in the blistering meanness and anger of this world, but if we stay attached to the Vine, we will bear fruit. Sweet Jesus is our sustenance. We cannot survive without Him.
